A Letter from Our Pastor
For nearly 175 years, the Catholic Faith in the North Scott area has changed over the years since Mass was first celebrated in parishioners homes by an itinerate priest. We have seen our parish grow over the 160 years since the first church building was erected. Today, I am amazed to see what you, the parishioners of St. Ann, have done in the last 30 years. You have made many sacrifices to build and ever stronger parish with facilities that are among the very best in the Diocese, the State, and the Midwest.
We are once again challenged to continue to support St. Ann's as the thriving spiritual campus it is. We are now called to look at our long term needs to eliminate parish debt, make necessary repairs, and replacements adn to expand programs and resources to best meet the future needs of the parish.
I thank you for being a part of this process. Your input is very, very important. We want to hear from you! It is through this process that we can together plan for the future of St. Ann's Parish.
Yours in Christ,
Msgr. Drake Shafer
Pastor of St Ann's
